A little about myself

Life so far...

I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, with a brief departure to Los Angeles in Middle School. I did in fact live in an igloo, have penguins for friends, and beat off bears with heavy books on my way to class. Next question...

I headed off to MIT where I got knocked around for a while before finding a passion studying artificial intelligence. I spent my summers in New York City working in IT for an excellent investment bank. After a couple of years, I decided to give graduate school in computational neuroscience a try at UCSD.
